Extended Family Agreement

While we agree that the needs of our extended family are important, the needs 
of our immediate family are primary.

We agree to consult and communicate with each other regarding issues that 
affect our immediate family prior to discussing it with our extended family.

We agree not to impose upon our partner to communicate our concerns with the 
other members of our extended family. We will be responsible for our own 
communication, but can ask for help from our partner.

We agree to use the communication and meeting of two agreements to resolve 
conflict with each other.

We agree to have an extended family meeting once a month and/or when needed.

We both agree to attempt to the best of our ability to keep these agreements 
and to honor each other's request to renegotiate if an agreement does not 
appear to be serving the highest good of this coupleship.
