Entities to contact with public information about the RCA program can include:
(1) The general public. (2) Persons in the helping professions and helping institutions, such as physicians, school counselors, therapists, members of the clergy, nurses, family therapists, hospital social workers, family service agencies, hospitals with chemical dependency treatment programs, and community health clinics. (3) Government agencies, such as local and state mental health officials, law enforcement public relations officers, domestic relation courts, social service agencies, and military hospitals. (4) Local, county, and state mental health associations. (5) All levels of public and private education. (6) Professional and non-professional clubs, such as ethnic associations, Lions, Kiwanis, Rotary, Knights of Columbus, Shriners, and associations for disabled persons. (7) Institutions such as children's homes, shelters for battered women and children, nursing homes, and group homes for the disabled. (8) All levels of business, particularly employee assistance programs, and personnel departments. (9) Other 12-Step fellowships at the local, state, and national levels.
